I think you would get more help if you could actually take the time and correct your grammar mistakes.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by teggy_617 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i just brought a 96 gsr. so one of these day on the highway i hit vtec. and suddenly my check engine light wentt on. and afta that i feel like im laggin as in when i press on tha gas it wont let me shoot out quick, buh afta 3000 rpm or so it normal. it like something holding me back before that. like im pressing on tha gas pedal hard buh it not moving like it suppose to be? bogs? would that b the word ? i dunno. neways so i put a scanner and it real. p1259 fuel air metering. that what it say. buh i do some research online it say something vtec some shizz. can someone please help me so that my gsr can be where it supppose to beeee.. thankkkk youuu</TD></TR></TABLE>

First of all it didnt say something vtec some shizz it said P1259 VTEC System Malfunction... Which means you could have a pretty serious problem get a helms manual and go through the troubleshooting for that code..
It says probable causes could be the VTEC solenoid valve, open or short in VTEC solenoid, Valve circuit, VTEC pressure switch, open or short in VTEC pressure switch circuit, ECM

Try resetting your ECM... unplug your BACK UP (7.5A) fuse from the under-hood fuse/relay box for 10 seconds

Also so you dont get flamed and so people can understand you and help you a little easier write a little more clearly

I dont think anything bad will happen, as in irrepairable damage but basically the vtec wont engage and you'll be loosing power and your car probably wont rev past about 7k

google search hondahookup manuals you can find information in there about how to test the electronics and fix whats wrong
