Painted my Rota GT3's....
started with this

being stripped (what a pain in the ***)

pretty much finished... just need to put a little more coats of clear on and paint the inside of the rim black

comments welcome

you just lowered the resale value of a relatively cheap set of rims

Highly unlikely. The going rate for GT3's is relatively uniform, unless it was an extremely horrible paint job or highly damaged wheels.

wheels had a lot of chips and curbage on the lip... i dont think i managed to lower the resale value.. considering everyone has rota gt3's and these are different... why be the same as everyone else?

how many layer to get that coverage?
did you use their clear?</TD></TR></TABLE>
i used 2 layers of primer
2 layers of their basecoat
3 layers of the red overcoat (wanted it as red as possible)
5 coats of clear (Just for extra protection)
I just used some regular clear i couldnt justify spending $4 extra on thier clear and it is the exact same thing as a regular clear
