car won't rev above 3000rpm!!
Hi, I have a 2001 s2000 and the car suddenly has a cel on and won't rev above 3000rpm. I went to the dealer and they put it on some computer and it was the TDC sensor#2. We checked it and indeed one of the wire was broken.
I soldered the wire back together, took the battery cable off and the cel was off and the car revved normal again. After 1 day the cel came back on with the same problem. I have to shut the car off and turn the car back on for the car to rev above 3000rpm, but the cel stays on. Do I have to do something else to fix this problem, because I don't think that this sensor could be damaged!!
Please some help!!

you can have multiple CEL's... you may have fixed one of them, but there might be several others... pull the code again and let us know what it is
