Default Which year LS motor.........

I have a 98 EX coupe. Im dropping a LS motor in. I know legally im suppose to have a 98+ motor, but which year motor, would be the best to put in, as far as price vs installing wiring harness, and reliability. Thanks.

get the newest one you can find and then just run a OBD1 ecu, or find a 98 with high miles and then rebuild it for turbo

as long as you stick with OBD I and OBD I, and OBD II with OBD II.
i called up the dmv to find this out.
the nyc dmv.

so you can stick with any car and any motor as long as it follows the generations emissions and such.

just get the OBD II, it will make things easier for the swap....and if there are ANY gains it would be extremely small!!
