Default Neuspeed FSTB vs. Stock

Anybody have any experience or opinions on the Neuspeed FSTB vs. the stock ITR FSTB?

I have the Neuspeed on my DD, but if I can put it to better use on the R for autocross (and expo pending federal refund!!!!!), i'd rather do that.

Which neuspeed bar? There are IIRC 3 varieties. One looks similar to the stock ITR bar, and then there are the "spider" style bars. There are two styles of the "spider" bars, one which attaches at the shock mount bolts, and one which attaches at the control arm bolts. I've got the control-arm style on my car and my girlfriend has the shock-mount style on hers (used to be on mine.) They are very stiff, and I was able to pick my 2nd one up dirt cheap. I've never used a stock ITR bar, but I can tell you for sure that the Neuspeed spider bars work very very well.

That's what the Spider style bars look like, they're available in black and polished finishes.

Yeah the spider bar that attaches to the control arm points is the model I'm talking about. Sorry I wasn't more specific, and thanks for the information!

Cool, you're welcome. I love the bar, the ONLY issue that I have with it is that it doesn't leave a whole lot of thread on the control arm studs. I just used threadlocker and make sure to check the torque on them regularly, but it probably will never be an issue even if you don't bother. Just one of those paranoid-obsessive things. It's very sturdy though, made a good difference on my car and my girl's.

I had a lot of Neuspeed products on my old 91 Si and loved them. The FSTB was a great addition.

I've always wanted to try the control arm bolt mounted FSTB. I believe it's one the only pieces configured that way.
