Default 1997 accord amplifier install.. help?

Does the stock deck have RCA outputs?? not really worried about anything else but that..

No.

If you're installing subs or what not you'll want to upgrade the stock setup, it won't sound near as good.

i installed a sub with my stock headunit. i just used an input/output converter to make it work. seems fine to me

Most newer sub amps have line inputs with some funky looking connector that's generally included. At least that's how it was with my Infinity's. I've had to use them once when my after market deck died.

I didn't say it wouldn't work, I just said it won't sound as good. Plugging an aftermarket head unit up changes the quality instantly. A stock HU in a 10+ year old accord is not meant to handle a subwoofer.
