My 95 Lude has an H23 with 108,000 miles. Now I'm wondering whether I should rebuild the h23 and boost it or swap a jdm h22 into it then booost it. I don't know much when it comes to turbo chargers, but I know that everyone in the prelude room says sleeve it and rebuild it then boost the hell out of my h23....all advice is appreciated.

An explanation would be nice, I need reasons as to why YOU think the H23 would be a better engine to boost..the h22 has more hp, after boosting it that would leave you with more hp.

 

more displacement is bette for spool up.

I want also more H22 or 23 infos, cause it is an interessting power plant for boost. Displacement ownz

 

I'd see it the same way as b18c vs b18b. More displacement, lower compression, cheaper engine.

only thing nice about h22 is the VTEC, the the guy above said the frankenstein swap (H23aVTEC) but that has alot of oil leaks, so i hear. my friend boosted his h23 after he had it forged out. 15psi its hard to feel VTEC cause u never say in 1 gear!!!! go for the h23

 

What compression forged pistons should I go for in my h23...9:1 or 10:1?...do they both fit?
