I daily drive my RSX, monday thru friday, 50 miles a day, and during that time I don't get a single grind, shifts like butter. Saturday I take it out only at nights, but usually use my other car, sundays I take it out for cruises,etc. and the POS 3rd gears grinds like a mother! the last 4 sundays the 3rd gear grinds. but from monday-saturday the car is running brand new from the honda line.

i think it's weird that it only happens on sundays and the others it's cool. i just thought i share how my car hates sunday.

p.s. i didnt mean to get all religious with the title.

My '02 shifts like butter all time. Must be the drivers.

My 02 as well.

 

Not . Why would I . Not to mention you've never driven my car. Car drives smooth as new.

 

My **** used to grind too, in 2nd and sometimes 3rd.

I changed the tranny fluid with the NEW Honda MTF (green), and it virtually eliminated the grinds.

Also, try doing this before taking off:

Shift while stopped- 1-2-3-4-3-2-1-2-3-4-3-2-1

A bunch of time, it seems to help.

I have no grinding issues at all. a3 - 62,500 miles.

 

Some people are lucky. My car has been a damn angel these past two days.
