ok so i got the motor in my race car...i had my head all ported adn polished adn i put it all together drop the motor in adn its a bitch to start and when it finally runs it idels for 10=15 seconds and quits or if i touch the gas it quits....whats wrong with this? kuz im [freak]in stumped!

sounds like the map and tps sensor plugs are backwards

 

nope not it anyone else got anythoughts im completly stumped thats for sure!

Have you adjusted your idle at all??? Do you have all solid connections???

 

no i have not touched the idle at all since i didnt touch the intake when i took it off....altho i will check tonight when im off work....but why would it make it so when i touch the gas it dies?

none that is what i dont understand...lol...im so stumpped i cant even think bout anything else this is mind boggling! i just hope some one can help me out with it so its running my next satuday since that is first night! lol

 

what motor in what car with what ECU?

 

Are you sure the valve lash are fine? Check the injectors if there spraying. Check ignition. Theres lots to check but the main question as stated above is what engine and ecu.
