Default setting timing on 92 vx

where is the wire i need to unplug to check the timming with a timing gun,and what is the stock timming for the d15z1
one more thing which way do i move the dizzy to advance/retard the timming
i did search but got nothing

When my friend checked my timing, all he did was connect the clamp to #1 cyl plug wire (the one closest to the cam gear) and shot the light.

Move the dizzy toward the firewall to advance it.

For more details on the timing, plz refer to a Helms manual so you don't end up off time and bend some valves.
