We recently acquired a 91 Honda Civic Hatchback (manufactured In Canada). There is a problem with the high beams that we can’t resolve—they don’t work although low beams are fine. The following is in working order: all fuses, bright lamps, switch, relay for head lamps, and the wiring seems to all be intact and grounded.

Before we take the car to a shop to have them trace down the problem, I wanted to check to see if anyone has any suggestions.

We do not have an owner’s manual for this car. We’ve located one fuse box under the steering column and one relay/fuse box next to the battery. Is there another box anywhere we need to locate? Have you heard of anyone else with this same problem?
