Default strut bump stops

ok on my 04 HFP i have the HFP struts and Tein springs. to lower the stance a little more i want to cut mabye 1/3 of my bump stops off or just whatever it takes to make the car sit how i want. is there ANYWAY to cut the rear bumpstops without taking the strut all the way back out. i no u can just get to the front by jackin the car up and pushin the dust cover up. but i cant seem to find a way to get to the rears without takin the strut back out.

You'll have to take the struts out. I don't see how this is going to lower the car though...

Where did you get this theory from?

Unless you are super-mega slammed, springs are what determine the height of the car, for the most part.

Before you start trying things I recommend that you get a better understanding of how your car's suspension operates.

seriously, I don't see why cutting the bumpstops would make your car lower.

but to answer your questions. You'll need to take off the strut.
