will a 91 da cluster...
slide right into an 89 si Hatch?
if not how much mod is needed? is it plug n play?
and if anything, what is the better cluster to replace mine with?
any help needed, going to attempt to swap clusters today, just wanna know which would be the best looking and fit amongst all honda clusters

da wont fit without alot of modification, i set one in my gauge hood and it wasnt close. i know ef8kid and a few others have had dc2's in an ef, but have talked to a few and they said its not worth the work. the best imo is the em1 cluster. besides a s2k cluster of course.
damn if you are in such a hurry learn to search! **** even if you arent you should search first
type in "integra cluster" archived in the ef civic/crx section, I turned up 55 threadshttps://honda-tech.com/zerosearch

haha sorry grog, but props on being from humboldt i shot up to arcata(sp?) a couple times
so an EM1 cluster is the best fit into a 89 hatch? is that also plug and play or do i have to alter? im just looking for a nicer cluster period. my rpm needle jumps a lil when i hit 4400 cause of my vtec and my b16 ecu

A bad ignigter can cause your tach to jump around. A new cluster might not fix that, but sometimes the clusters do go bad, they are almost 20years old.
and btw nothing but stock is "plug and play" (even the 88-89 and 90-91 clusters are different) other clusters need to be rewired, along with replacing the speed sensor with an electric one if needed.
