Your wastegate opening has no effect on you being able to "rev it out" or not. You might want to re-diagnose your issue.

Maybe he put an early rev limiter in because he knew you'd take your freshly turboed and *untuned* car out and beat the **** out of it.

LOL...well lets see...your driving an UNTUNED turbo car...... i wonder why it breaks up around 4k (probably about the time the turbo spools).

Man,not trying to be a dick,or mean, but maybe you should research ALOT about a turbo/concept of a turbo car before you actually drive a turboed car,or you might be replacing the motor quite a bit.

You cant slap on a turbokit, not tune it,and expect it to run and function properly.

well if the shop that installed it has even the slightest knowledge about hondas, they set your car up with a boost cut at something like 3 psi so if you hit boost you dont blow your motor up because the car is untuned.

stock ecu? Map sensor may be seeing boost when turbo kicks in.

stock map is fine to just shy of 12 psi, may be cutting out due to going lean? or blowing out spark

Not if it isn't rescaled, which is definitely possible in this "untuned" car.
