i dont come hear very often but on 3-15 08 my car got stolen from behind my house.

me,my brothers and a few friends went cruising and after that we went to baskin robins. a while before that i was working on my car and just got my motor mount inserts in.

that morning my mom woke me up and she asked me were i parked the car and i told her it was in the parking space behind the house and she said that it was not there. so i looked from my kitchen window and it was gone.
i spent so much time on that car and it all went to waste. i think some one followed me home last night( thats just the feeling i got). the car had 4000 miles on a rebuilt motor and it was very strong. i beat a few h/i/e em1s by 3-4 cars and all i have is an exhaust, cai and flywheel.
i had so many plans for that car..... i felt like crap, i am a little over it now.

BTW it was my first car and i spent 2 years getting it perfect. i only drove it 4000 miles.

 

Always sucks to hear someone got there car stolen.

i was just wondering, dont the factory alarms on sis have immobilizers? how did they take the car?

 

factory alarm is really easy to bypass any amature thief can do it .. but sorry for your loss bro but what type of security you had if any?

 

i had the factory alarm. the only reason i got the car was because i got it super cheap. an alarm was going to be the next thing to get. i has been a month and the shell still has not shown up. how long does it usually take to find the shell?

 

Yeah security is the first thing anyone with a honda should do especially with a em1 thats the first thing i did when i got mine em1 the same day including changing the ignition just bc i was that paranoid lol ... but around here in Boston it usually shows up in 4-5 days

 

oh dude that sucks! she was a beauty...

mine was broken into a few nights ago and they destroyed my ignition by ramming a screwdriver and then hot wiring it... luckily my kill switch went unnoticed and they got nothing.. now im super paranoid about my car.

That sucks so bad. I always take it easy around my neighborhood just so pps wont know how fast my car really is. Hopefully you will find it not stripped but there is no guarantee but there is always hope so just hope for the best. Maybe it hasn't showed up because someone is modifying it more? That would be sweet.

hey man sorry for you loss. but where in illinois did they steal it. cause i had two of my civics stolen in bucktown and returned to me but stripped down to the floor mats.

 

it was stolen on the north side of chicago, i have an idea of who stole it, e mail me so we can talk more. umairmohammad@hotmail.com i just saw a stripped white 4th gen civic wagon by my house yesterday. it was on a trailer. the hood bumper fenders and motor were all gone. all i know is that its a whole ring of them.

I feel your pain man, I had mine stolen on 3/6/08. Cops recovered it stripped and abandoned like a 2 weeks ago. I freaking hate thieves. Hopefully they won't leave yours like mine but odds are it'll be stripped too. I'm going to start rebuilding soon hopefully, w/ many new security features.
