Lol, yeah pretty much. When the front wheel went off the ash vault the rough edge bent up one of the control arms which threw the alignment out so bad that the car looked like it had a broken leg.. Also flattened the tire and damaged the bead. I was so angry to find that the camera shut off there because what happend is that the car straightened right back up and we kept going although the terrible sckreeching sounds were tell tale of something being f-ed up.. All in all though nothing a proper wheel alignment could'nt fix... Although im at the end of the adjustment on my Skunk2 upper control arms so I guess something needs replacing. :S
What kind of spring rates/ shocks are you running , car seemed pretty stable over rough roads.
Camera shut off, due to battery? ran out of tape?
try http://revver.com the qaulity is better for uplaods compared to youtube but streetfire is pretty good actually

I haven't been able to figure out why the camera shut off. I guessing the car must have stalled because I had the camera running with a power supply off the 12v... Other than that I dont know, could have shaken it a bit too hard maybe?

Wow just amazing footage and even more amazing they allow that anywhere in north america lol! Doesn't anyone complain they don't want you racing literally in their backyard? lol

I've been entertaining the idea of competing in Targa Newfoundland. Compete rally style at your own pace with all those great routes.
What tires did you run and was you able to keep to the 6 tire max (4+2 spares) after the off?
Looks like you about lost it on the "unknown" course after the second bridge with the slight right, offcamber, over the hill part!

No last year was year number 5 for us. (Have the license plates to show)
Yes we were able to keep to the tire limit. We used BFGoodrich KDW's last year but this year will be going with Toyo R888's or RA-1's depending on availability... The KDW's we excellent in the rain (I mean better than RA-1's but thats not hard) but they lacked the overall grip for this race. Most everyone was running RA-1's or R888's and could out pace us in the dry (most of the event). I feel we could have done much better without "the spin" (leading tickles) and with better tires.
Yes, that was a little scary, wouldn't have been bad had it not been for the gravel on the road. Didn't think she was going to keep grip, speed wasn't too high there though.
