Type R decals
I just got body work done under warranty and they repainted the quarter panels (passenger and drivers).
The Type R decals had to be removed and the dealer wants to charge $52 for each decal (passenger and driver).
Am I getting screwed, does any know if $52 per decal is about right?
Thanks,

$52 is a rip off if it is US dollars. Approx. $35 should be the cost. Go to the A&H Motorsports website for the best deal, and to make sure you receive the correct decal. Each color R has it's own decal. I learned this recently the hard way.
No, unfortuantely it is'nt. If I wanted to leave them off, I would also like rear taken off and shave the emblems. Its $52 canadian, I guess I'll have to eat this one.

1.) but if it's warranty work it should be covered (your car is a TypeR...right?)
2.) leave them off it you want...save the money for the something else (like enough oil changes for the year)

I'm just wondering, but what kind of body work did they do under warranty? I can't see how body work would be a warranty item. That's great for you though if the dealer paid for it.

Basically a stain off the road ate its way on to my rear bumper and they could'nt clean it off, even with thinner. They had to repaint everything, except the hood, roof and doors.
It was an acceptable job...
