need help with set of coilovers
Here's what happened.. Last season I picked up a set of H&R RR coilovers for my DA and I let the car sit over the winter not knowing that you're supposed to remove weight off the suspension when you're not in motion or for storage so now they've leaked out fluid. Bilstein wants $300 to revalve, new seals and new fluid service but all it really needs is fluid is this something I can do myself?

Nope. That's weird that they leaked just from sitting though, never heard of that happening before.

Yep that is weird. I store my race car with the wheels on the ground and have never in 8 years had the suspension leak or had any problems at all for that matter.

Umm, I hope that's not the case, are you supposed to store the car on jack stands I guess? I have always just let the car sit as is. It's a damn car, just like the other millions in the world that don't live on jackstands when not driven...

Yea I'm not too sure either... the only thing that I can think of is that the strut shaft might have been a little scratched causing the leak... so I guess its off to bilstein... anyone have any other ideas?
