You might need to go with some Coilovers. You have a 4" gap at least.

Both should run COMPLETE for about $600-$700.
Then, you need to worry about camber with that much of a drop. With a camber kit, about $800-$900 in total for everything running and up to spec.
Then again, this is for NEW parts. You might be able to find used pieces here on H-T and save some $$.
The only springs that can give you a good amount of drop, that I've seen, are the H&R Race Springs. What I'm going for.

Damnnn.....im a teen and im broke....would it be a bad idea to buy cheapo coilovers from ebay? I really dont care about handeling..but I do care about the ride.

yup bad idea at minimum buy h&r springs on stock shocks the coilover rates would kill the stock shocks too quickly and make ur ride bzounce. in a few years you would buy shock aslo 100 to 200 for spring 300-500 or so for shocks. so i dunno plan accordingly buy spring shock together or save money and get a better full coilover system like omnimans or ground controls on koni yellows. i have messed up before whatever you buy performance wise make sure you reserach know wut your getting see if theres any problem plan it out dont fawk urself over and buy apc or dropzone coilovers.

sweet looking ride man. I am riding on Tein S. Tech springs with illumina struts. Its only like a 1.75 drop, but it rides really good. I much prefer the "almost-stock-but-lowered" look. I think slammed civics look kinda silly, unless you have 10" wide tires poking out the front.

In my ricer days (no Alcheezas, just short-cut a lot of ****), I installed Eibach Sportlines (2.5" drop) on my DC5 on stock struts. They are BARELY showing signs of wear and a little bounce...3.5 years later. If you're lucky, they might last. But, do it right the 1st time. I'm going KYB AGX and H&R Race soon. No more stockies.
