Default sts turbo

http://www.ststurbo.com

okay so i was looking on google for turbo kits and this was one of the links it gave me. so i clicked on it and they make turbo kits way from the engine to increase performance and locate the turbo in the truck(back) of the car. any one know if this stuff is any good.. looks impressive.

i have tried this setup on a hatch. doesnt work. there was not enough exhasut pressure to spool the turbo to create more than 1 1/2 psi of boost

STS kits are the biggest hack on earth. The only time that something like that is remotely (no pun intended lol) legitimate is when there is absolutely no room for a proper turbo hanging off the engine.

You must have had a leak. There are lots of good rear mount setups that when done properly (unlike sts) will boost easily and be responsive.
