Default 150 shot DP ..Whats else is needed?

HAve a few questions ..

aiming for a 150 total in a 2 stages 100 direct port and a secondary 50 shot..
already have the intake manifold with the NOS direct port pluming as well as the second stage.

engine is a 91 b18 ..
plans are eagle rods and clevit bearings
pistons undesided as well as a good set or rings
arp head studs and rod bolts
stock balance crank and head with all machine work and balancing done..
as well as fuel set up ..

not new to nirtous at all.. into the chevys with alot more nitrous .. just new to the hondas thing ..
would apreciate info on the people running similar set ups and contrusctive critisism

figured it would be a fun project .. got a crx for free and and enigine for 50$ friends are donating the nitrous and cams..

As long as you don't get greedy and keep timing/afr's safe, it should hold. I just wouldn't use clevit bearings on a Honda. Only OEM or ACL. People have had good luck with Wiseco and CP pistons, but the latter were prone to melting near the intake releifs in the past.

Some nonvtec B18's have been known to make & hold 300whp bone-stock with a turbo added, to give you an idea. I also recall a guy spraying a B20 that had a mishap, had a huge shot of NOS start at 2500rpm. I think he made 513 lb/tq on that dyno run...

sounds good .. oem bearings over clevit ..

what about rings ? i figured good head gasket and arp head studs will hold the top end together .. and for the low end arp 2000 rod bolts a set of eagle rods and maybe cp pistons found a good set of them for decent price
maybe a good block guard will hold it together

what kinda on piston ring gap will a shot that size require > as well as timing and cold plugs ?

will a 255 walbro supply enough fuel ?

planing on spacing the shot between 3-5oo rpm ..
initial 100 dp shot a 3 k and the 50 at 3.5k
or a lil later according to traction issues.. will be using a fully programable window switch .

any other ideas or set ups?

whats the most people are spraying on semi built ls's?

to answer some q..

255 should be plenty.

good headgasket = OEM HONDA headgasket (dont buy the local automotive store ones)

Not a ton of nitrous ppl on here but there are a few so it may take bit longer to get your questions answered on here.. we will sure as hell try though

boosted ex
ha ha i also have a ms4 and milled tsp prc 2.5 5.3l heads on it ..
as well as a fast 90/90 and forged botom end .. with a nitro daves 2 stage nitrous set up as well as the nano nitrous kit .. still working out the kinks should have it done and dynoed shortly ..
but my engine is in a FD rx7

back on the nitrous questions what problems are people running with a shot that big ..

whats the weak link after rod pistons rings and block guard? whats most likely to fail on there b series ? whats a good set of wring and plugs that wont melt ?
will changing water pump and oil pump be necessery at this level

u guys have trouble lifting heads of the block with compression in the 11.1 range and a shot that big ?

what a good educated guest on the power and torque it should produce to the wheels ??
thanks again for the informitave answers

oem gasket with arp head studs, your choice of aftermarket pistons, and rods should do just fine with the 125 shot. IMO
