what is the Steel or aluminum block with the fins on it in the upper right hand side of the engine bay ontop of the driver side strut tower I purchased a shell and whoever had it before me snipped all the wires to it and before I go to the junkyard and get a new one from there I was woundering what its purpose is being there any answers will be apreciated

alright thanks man thats what i thought it was i dont know why they cut it out and nothing else but oh well thats what a junk yards for but in the newest issue of honda tuening they have an article about it but i wasent shure if thats what it was thanks agian
