resistor box install help continutity testing??????
i tested the harness and on the top row of four i got .1 on the 2 in the right corner .07 in the top left corner and under that .1 in the bottom left corner is this ok to use i thought there all grouped together and the .07 is throwing me off a little wanna make sure it's right before i do something wrong please help!!!!
Are you sure you know what continuity is? You are testing to make sure you have a "connection". In other words you want to make sure you have the correct wires. My tester beeps if the wires are the correct ones. There is no value.
i have 4 that get a reading but there all over the place as far as there not grouped together is that ok?
He is measuring resistance (Ohms) that is why he is getting "values" Just as good as the other method. If there is a bad connection he will get an O.L. = bad.
civicgsr2004, those values are ok assuming you are measuring from after the resistor box and to the exposed pin on the connector. You are seeing minute differences in the length of the wire and the solder if you added any. It will also change depending on how good a contact yo are making. You are good to go

Yes those values you're getting are the resistance given out by the resistors, if there is no connection made, OL would be seen in your ohmmeter
ok so i am good then ...just wanted to make sure before i started doin something wrong and then paid for it thanks for all the help you guys gave me i just got worried cause all the ones i've seen done have been grouped together not all over the place like in mine. ...thanks again.
