Modified steering wheel (personal neogrinta) anyone got the horn to work?
ok, so in order for this setup to work, the SRS reel must be taken out...anyone wired their horn up their wheel? This pisses me off, bc when i need my horn i dont have one, stupid people at green lights thinking its still red, or someone merging into your lane accidently deserve a good horn blast.
sadly i cannot do this bc of the modification. Anyone find a cure to this? lmk!!
or i will just resort to the the ghetto method of buying a switch from radio shack and using that as my ground!!!!

ok, so I figured it out...you take out the srs reel, then there will be two plugs, one yellow and one gray....the blue wire from the gray plug is the horn wire. When that contacts any ground, the horn activates. hope that helps anyone with this problem!!!
When I did mine I looked at this thread but didn't really know what to do until I started working on it. I ended up doing it a different way. But it does help you understand what you have to do to get it to work.

i went a few weeks without a working horn, i thaught it was broken, but i had a fender bender at 5 mph, more of a bumper fender, and it knocked the wires for the horn off.
anyway, i have a nice exhaust on my engine, so rather than beep, i just rev to 5g and theyll usually take off.
