Wassup everyone my hood latch under the dashboard broke and tried pulling the wire with pliers and pulled the hole cord and disconnected it from the front under the hood so now the latch and wire are totally useless does any one know or can tell me step by step to open my hood i have purchased a new wire set just dont know how to pop it open to get my hood up im thinking gotta go under the car? if anyone can help me i would be thankful

 

take a sawsall to the hood latch ftw

 

10mm box-end wrench on the 3 (maybe 4?) bolts on the actually latch. You'll have fun reaching them all. but that's about the only way I've seen.

you could do it that way

or.......
reach behind the bumper support and trip the latch with a screwdriver or something (your hand even) put the car up if you even want to

 

yeah i was jk with the sawsall thing, but jack up your car and you can use a screwdriver
