Swap was done about 5 weeks ago and has been running ok. Went to start it this morning and it will only turn over.

I've got fuel pressure and my injectors are firing(spark plugs are wet with fuel).

Don't seem to have any spark.

Swapped in another ECU I had no change. Pulled the dist. cap off and cleaned the rotor and contacts. no change.

checked the (+) and (-) screws on the coil and both have power when neg plug on volt meter is grounded to the (-) batt. terminal. between then theres no power.

I don't have a manual for the Z6 motor so I checking blind here.

Please help I'm supposed to drive for a business trip on Monday and I cant afford a rental car. thanks

thanks for those pages. I checked al the wireing and its right. so I guess I need to replace the ignition unit.

 

Problem solved.

she lives to rev another day!!!! $180 less but shes running. The ignition module was bad but no one was one in stock in town. So for $70 more I got a rebuilt dist. Started first try.
