That won't fit, because the pipe will be off to the left....
Do you really need that valve?

I heard it will only suck water when the filter is almost completely in a puddle....

i wouldn't do it....it's just one more weak link in the the AEM, makes the fitment suck even more. a friend ran at the track recently with his, and was surprised to find that when the engine got really heated up the damn thing expanded enough to basically disconnect on both sides of the pipe, bypassing the filter....

just sell it all and get a comptech setup if you're worried about water suck.

is what dancgerous. . . . water? yes if it gets to the engine . . but that is very slim to none. as long as you use common sense. . . . the by[pass vavle isnt dangerous, but they break from the stress of engine movements durng hard shifts

no point in getting a cold air intake if the bypass is just gonna be sucking up HOT *** engine heat anyway right

Actually, I just put my intake and bypass on my R this weekend. I'll try to get pics soon. But to comment on the bypass being useless, the bypass has rubber valves that stay closed until the air intake pressure is dropped. Then it will activate and open up. I don't think it's sucking in hot air from the engine.

This whole post is why I went to the Comptech Icebox.

Been there, did all that...

here are pics of what the bypass valve looked like when on and after i got sick of replacing them, the 1st one is kinda shitty , was taken with a crappy camera.
