doing a motor swap in a 96 ek. need help with mounts
i have a stock dseries motor still in the car. can i use all the d-series mounts to get a b16 swap in my car? what i can use or what will i need to get?
you need 99-2000 civic si block mount (the one that bolts directly to the driver side of the engine block) and 99-2000 civic si rear trans bracket. The top trans bracket from the d-series can be re-used along with the driver side hydro framerail mount and fraimrail mount bracket. If you want A/C you will need a 99-00 civic si a/c bracket. You can use any 94-01 b-series front trans torque mount.
so i need 99si:
block mount
rear tranny bracket
a/c bracket ( for A/C only)
bseries front tranny torqe mount.
so i will i need 4 total and reuse some of the old deseries mounts? is that correct?

i'd suggest getting an aftermarket driver side motor mount made for your civic...you'll need the si rear L bracket...and that's it...well ofcourse you'll need the axles and shift linkage...could look at the FAQ's too....SEARCH next time but gl on your future swap
thats whats up right there. good looking out man. all i need is:
aftermarket driver side motor mount
and si rear L bracket.
thats was the answer i was lookin for.
