can i make my dx have power windows??
I put power windows in my dx from an si, took a little time to figure out what wires did what, but from what I remember I only had to run power to the driver side switch, then ran 2 wires from the drivers side switch to the passenger side switch and hook up the motors to the switches. Its been about 7 years since I did this but no problems with it since, so if you have the patience it can be done. I could probably be done pretty easily with help from a wiring diagram.

No it's not plug and play unless you grab a floor harness, but it not difficult with out the floor harness if you can solder. See if this link helps.

what gauge wired did you use?
did you run a ground to the switch?
SO basicly you took power to the d. side switch and connected the motor then took a power to the p. side and a wire to be able to control the p. side window?

From what I remember I used 12g wire, I found the inner door harness and jam harness off a car with power windows . I only remember having to run 3 wires. 1 was a power to the drivers side switch then 2 wires from the drivers switch over to the passenger switch. I believe the polarity reverses on the 2 wires from the drivers switch allowing the passenger window to go up or down. If I remember right the pass side motor only has 2 wires and depending how you connect power/ground to these 2 wires controls which way the window rolls.
