Default Kpro

I am going to put Kpro in my EP tomorrow and get it tuned...all i have right now is intake and exhaust...i was wondering how much whp anyone got out of their k20a3 with kpro?

I think I've seen a a3 with 200whp but it was fully decked out. I'd image you could crank out 150's

With a good tune this is possible - I've seen it. But it was a VERY good tune.

thanks for the input, I will be getting it tuned in a couple hours so I will let you know the results...probably going to go turbo in a month or so too...

YEP ITS THE STOCK MOTOR...
I WAS SUPRISED HE GOT THOSE NUMBERS TOO...
HE DID AN EP SAME MODS BEFORE AND GOT 177...
SO I WAS GOIN TO BE HAPPY WITH LIKE 170-175...
THEN I SAW THE GRAPH AND I WAS LIKE WTF...! SO IM HAPPY ABOUT THAT
NOW I AM WAITING TO SEE HOW THIS GUY THAT GOT THAT TUNER IMAGE TURBO FOR 700...THEY WERE GOIN TO SEE HOW MUCH IT DID YESTERDAY BUT GOT PUSHED BACK TO NEXT SAT CAUSE THEY NEED TO HEAT SHIELD AND WRAP EVERYTHING...BUT IF THAT GOES GOOD IM PROB GOIN TO GO WITH THAT BOOST KIT, OR THROW A TYPE-S IN THERE IM NOT SURE...

I am not sure I really don't know much about dyno and tuning...
all i know is that bubba is a great tuner and he is pretty well known out here and has had some great builds. I will try and see what exactly he uses. I am really happy with what he got out of my car and can really feel the difference.

I notice you live in Cat city? Who is bubba? I was thinking of throwing a Kpro in my DC5 and if he is as legit as you say maybe I'll see if he would wanna tune mine too.. lol

Bubba actually has a shop in long beach i believe...but you have heard of total tuning garage in PS right? well thats one of my homies shops and he just got a dyno there and bubba comes down and tunes...you should go on saturday he is going to be tuning all day...and you will love kpro

you got tuned at total tuning then if your from cat city. yeah bubba tunes more for race and power not really daily driving and reliability.

yeah well he tuned mine for max power and daily driving....but it has been driving good the last two days so far so we will see...i will be boostin near the end of the summer probably or hopefully sooner...

dyno are simply tools for adjustments
not bragging rights

there are many so many factors that can give you those numbers (temp, humidity, type of dyno....endless possibilities)

i've dynoed at 2 different places on different days and got a 12whp increase??

congrats on the high number though

oh i wasnt trying to brag i was just really surprised by the numbers...
and bubba is a great tuner, he tunes all my friends cars here and puts down some good numbers...anybody in the 760 hit up total tuning garage!

do you know what kind of dyno he was runs?
a mustang dyno perhaps?

those are known to give high numbers
