EG Ground Wires + Starter Wire Replacement..
So I'm kinda dressing up my bay a little bit and replacing old/rusty junk and I think new ground wires would look nice.
Also relocating my battery so i need to redo a bit of wiring already.
I've searched the topic and most of the posts are about how to install them. I'm just looking for clarification as to sizing. I'll be going to the parts store this weekend and I just need to be sure I'm buying the right stuff.
1. Valve Cover Ground 4ga.
2. Trans Ground 4ga
3. Battery Power Cable 2ga
4. Battery Ground Cable 2ga
5. Fuse Box Ground Wire 4ga
6. Starter Power Wire 2ga? - Do I need to Loom it like OEM?
So are these parts OK?
Am i missing anything?
Thanks HT.

I relocated my batt to the back. This is how i wired it up.
Batt to starter - 0
Alt to bat - 0
3 grounds from batt to chassis - 0
Chassis to engine - 0
Starter signal - OEM wire.
No fuse box use and no main relay use so only one engine ground for starter.

Thanks. Seems large from what i've read. If you predict a problem with my sizes please let me know.
Also, where did you split the battery (+) cable to go from battery to Fusebox/starter?

Honestly power to the motor is just the starter. If you want to use smaller gauge you can for the starter but run thicking for the alt. going back to the batt as that is a constant current.
I have an ecu/fuse board, i have a 0 going to 3 ports on my distribution strip, then i have one of those going to the fuse box. The fuse box is what powers everything. Just tap a wire off the fuse box to the batt. 4 gauge would be fine for this. Im using i think 3 pieces of 16 or 14 gauge to power my fuse box. But if you have a solid 4 gauge you should be fine.

4 gauage is fine. run a 4 to from the batt to the starter then use an 8 from the starter to the fuse box. just leave enough slack for the engine to torque. u can even use the all stock grounds in the engine bay. just find a good ground in the rear of the vehicle abd maybe have it grounded twice back there off the batt.
