Integra Cutting out and bogging/ only revs to 3500 and cuts out when gas is hit hard???
I have a 1995 Integra GSR with a 1994 GSR motor and b16 trans... the only things i have changed are readiator hoses, a hytech header, fidanza flywheel and 6 puck clutch... and there is a factory alarm that has bee cut up front of the car but i dont think that would do it.. i am rocking the stock IM.... as of right now i have changed the dizzy, fpr fuel filter, tps, map, vss, o2, fuel pump and its timed perfect.. i am throwing NO CODES.. the problem is if i am driving it and hit the gas to hard the car cuts out and falls flat on its face with no power.. if i keep holding the gas the rpms will drop to 1k or so and shoot up a little and cut out again... if i dont hit the gas hard the car only revs to 3500 with a load and 4500-5k without.... i have talked to many people and they cant figure it out.. please help me out here guys

sounds liike the fuel pump, check it or take it to the appropiate shop to have it checked. Internet diags will get you no where
You know what? My 95GSR is doing the same thing. Then the coil burnt out twice. I'm really confused cause I also have no codes. I've got a 95 B16A with a GSR distributor JDM P72 ECU. Tried to change FPR, main relay, plugs, wires, ICM, coil, ECU. Checked all majpr grounds thermostat, trans, engine.
That sucks you should check your distributor, do you know if the one you put on was working perfectly? If not it could be that. Here's a generic list of possible hesitation causes:
Worn or defective spark plugs
PCV hose air leak
Air flow meter
Intake valve deposit
Exhaust gas sensor
carbon canister
fuel pressure
fuel pressure regulator
Injector
injector circuits
ignition coil and circuits
ECU harness connector
ECU power supply & ground
ECU
AAC valve
clogged idle screw
Battery
alternator
Temp sensor
Temp sensor connector
Throttle position sensor
Idle switch
Cone Air filter
Crank angle sensor
Fuel temp sensor
Speed sensor
Incorrect timing belt installation

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Instead of just throwing parts at it, you need to diagnose it. Fuel pressure & VOLUME. A quick and dirty check for a lean condition is to floor it and then back of the gas. If it starts to accelerate when the throttle closes then you could have a lean condition. If you have a fixed, low fuel delivery to the engine, as the throttle opens it will go lean. As the throttle closes the airflow drops and the mixture goes back to stoichiometric. But definately diagnosis it before you put anymore parts on it. I got a lot of vehicles in for smog repairs, and the owner had spent a couple of hundred dollars of parts on it, and I find it was just a simple $35.00 part.
Hey guys, I have 92 Acura Integra GS 1.8L. I know this thread is old but I was hoping to get some insight. I have what I believe to be an electrical problem that is very similar to this. The car barely starts and when it does its sputtering. The radio cuts on and off, the system beeps restart and stop abruptly. I think the fuel pump/injectors are not getting a chance to come on to get enough fuel in the lines.. I barely got it home from 2 blocks away on what was remaining in the lines. I am new to working on cars and don't really know which wires go where and affect what. The dash lights up fine but everything else doesn't seem to be getting continual power. There is a short/loose wire somewhere and it would help if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!
