ok so my gfs si hes a virbration only when acceleration in 1st-3rd gear.. only when around half throttle.. it has brand new wheels and tires.. had the re-balanced, hub centric rings put on wheels, new tie rods, align ment, and new motor mounts.. i can not figure out what is wrong..

 

sounds like your axles are bad

 

whats the vibration like? does the steering wheel shake? does it do it right as the car starts moving? most likely there is something bent. has she run into any ditches or curbs lately? have the shop recheck the alignment.

 

we just got alignment.. it starts shaking around 20mph, and it like the whole car shakes .. its not a horrible shake but vary notice able

HEY I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 00 CIVIC SI I PUT BRAND NEW AXLES TIE RODS NEW FULL COILOVERS AND HAD IT ALIGNED LIKE 3 TIMES AND IT JUST DOESNT GO AWAY AND ITS VIBRATES ONLY AT AROUND 20-40 MPH BASICALLY JUST LIKE YOURS DOES.. SO IF U EVER FIGURE IT OUT LET ME KNOW ...

 

bump... still can't find the problem...

 

if a shop did the work take it back and tell them the issue and have them deal with it, otherwise check your suspension, tie rods, bearings, axles, etc and have your wheels rebalanced

 

i had new tie rods put on.. wheels have been rebalanced, checked the axles, changed suspension, had alignment done twice, checked motor mounts, chnged tourqe mounts, changed wheels around, and it still vibrates under acceleration.. im out of ideas.. it didnt do it untill we lowered the car.. now its on stock **** and still does it..
