Default JDM B16A ISSUES!!!

so my friend and i have been working on his teggy all day. i have no idea what happened to it but i just got a text telling me to go help him. so basically he started up the car when i got there and seemed to idle fine, but when he gave it a little gas, it sounded like there was insane misfiring action going on. it pretty much didn't sound at all the way it used to. so we took a look at it. i played around with the plug wires and we pulled the plug to see if they were drenched in fuel. they came out dry and black. we started it again and then it idled fine and when we revved it up it sounded just like it used too! so we took it around the block. after we took our first turn, he put it to the floor and ther was absolutely no power what so ever. it sounded like it was going to die the higher the revs got. it's just extremely weak. so we decided to check out his MSD box. we unhooked all the connections off the box to run it off the origianl ignition system. we rewired everything and just our luck, the car didn't start. we rewired the MSD ignition and it fired back up but still ran like crap. so we decided to see if the timing belt slipped. we check it and it was fine. so this is where we stand. it runs, so we're getting fuel and spark. the question is, what's not allowing it to run right? are we not getting enough fuel? or is there a sensor somewhere that went bad? keep in mind this is a JDM B16A (OBD1) in a 94 integra gsr... i know i know. don't ask...

You might want to check the fuel pressure.

i was thinking about that too. but at the time i didn't have a DVOM to check for any opens or excessive resistance.

Any CELS? To me it sounds like limp mode, but limp mode includes a CEL and a low rev limiter ( 4000, 3000, around that area).
