threads like this really make me laugh, im now actually going to purchase a digital camera and take pics of cars that resemble these , and post them daily..its just to good of a laugh.
Hey man, I have seen your car around Bellevue a couple times!
I think I saw it over on Coal Creek near Factoria. Honestly I think you almost ran into me
Anyways yeah when I saw it I thought it was a remnant from the 1980's.. I really didn't like it. But I'll be different.. ITS TIGHT DAWG!
j/k. To each their own. REALLY like the GTI though, needs to be dropped, tell your friend to get some Sportlines on there or something. But I have always been a VW nerd (used to have a 1.8t Golf).
BTW, where were those pictures taken?
Lates~

I especially like this photo:
I applaud your originality. There are a lot of countries where multiple-color cars are designed and painted beautifully. Unfortunately this has not been accepted in the US, seems picking colors for rims to match the body is too difficult already [sarcasm]. It takes someone who can visualize their ideas to successfully pull something like this off.
I would bet that there was a restriction on the rear that prevented there from being contiuity across the back body panels. Probably a deficiency in the painter's technique or something like that.
Because of where I live (and my personal taste) I would have chosen the darker color to hug the ground, and the lighter color up top. This would help balance the car's "visual" weight, giving it a more agressive "stance". The darker color would also be better to hide dirt and accentuate your choice in rims.
C'mon, honestly; how many of you guys have at least thought about elaborate or "sponsored" looking paint schemes?

i'll admit that this:
is a very nice shot
If this scheme was to work well, i think WOTTEG was right in saying there should be continuity. The lines jut dont match up. Not my particular taste, but if you like it, thats great. But I would seriously consider fixing those lines

Hopefully you didn't pay for the color scheme.
