I need to reduce the size of some silicon elbows I bought. Legs need to be reduced by about 3". What's the best way to get a straight and clean cut?

Anyone know where I can get custom size elbows?

 

Clamp a worm clamp or t-bolt around it and use the clamp edge to cut it straight with a razor blade, exacto, etc.

 

put a peice of scrap pipe in the coupler and chop saw works great.

 

I just use scissors.

 

I take a nice squarely cut piece of pipe and insert it to where I want the cut. Then take a sharp razor and run it around the edge. leaves a nice straight cut with little skill.

This is what I use... tends to be the simplest because it doesn't require any real tools, or special size piping.

 

I just flatten it in a vice and cut it flush with the top of the vice with a razor blade..

 

i feed mine through a bandsaw. cuts extremely fast so you have to be careful to keep it straight
