WTB 88-91 SI transmission/ blown up one maybe

If its blown up could you at least have it taken apart and tell me whats broke inside.

I have a jdm S1 tranny cable. To me is nothing wrong and shift every gear's fine...just that sometimes when you shift fast to 3rd its grind little. I been asking around and they told me cable is always like this on 3rd when shifting fast....
I got a local going to get its but not sure yet..
