Default Safe to drive the R like this??

well i was driving and i go to turn on my heat and it sounds veryy weird like a loose belt or sumthing so i shut it off and say ill check when i get home....

so on my way home i gunned it thru 3rd on a very lonely backstreet on my house and when i come to the stop sign i notice my power steering is gone????

so i pull over and pop the hood and right away notice that my power steering belt is hanging and i look down and i notice that the pulley was also off like it came off the block and ontop of that my A/C belt is very loose.

is this a serious problem or can i drive it for now without these things?

and im thinking its the dealers fault because before i bought the car it had no power steering or A/C and they said they would replace the belts so im guessing they put them back on and didnt tighten them enough. what holds the "pulley" to the block is it the screw in the center of it?

x2

If it's completely off it's fine and safe, but with **** dangling like that, of course not, shouldn't even be a question??

I wonder if you are talking about the AC tensioner pulley coming loose.
Those things are notorious for the bolts breaking and causing the pulley to flop around. Mine has broken twice and chewed up a crank pulley in the process.
Even when torqued to spec, the Honda bolts just aren't strong enough.
I replaced mine with a grade 8 bolt from the hardware store. It doesn't have the nice extended head on it, so tightening it is somewhat of a bitch.

If you plan to remove the AC belt, you will have to jack up the car and remove the driver's side engine torque mount (then loosen the driver's side main engine mount until it drops enough to clear) if you want to keep the belt. If you don't care about it, just cut the sucker off.
