What generation? Remember that this section covers two Civic generations, so you can't be so vague in your questions.

As far as 6th gens with THE SAME SUSPENSION MODS, the hatch will handle better. On the coupes and sedans there is more weight farther behind the rear wheels than there is on the hatch.

So basically, their asses feel heavier.

Which can help to rotate the car in corners.

But I agree Hatch FTW!

Are we "drifting"?

The coupe rear gets heavy faster than you'd expect. This makes the handling feel less predictable than a hatchback.

what do you mean better?
assuming you mean faster on a road coarse.

Even then it's not a clear answer. Keep in mind that any car can be made to be fast... but in general hatches are lighter when you're down to the chassis.
lighter = more potential to be faster

is it much, nope.
Is the coupe, sedan or hatch that much better than the other - nope.
Can any of them be the fastest at any one track - yep.
Driver is #1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 on any list of go fast parts. chassis style is so close to the bottom of the list that it's not worth noting.

Pick the one you like the styling of and go with it.
