jdm b16 swap
hey guys i picked up a complete jdm b16 swap the only thing that is missing is the tranny. i have a few questions about the swap.
what parts will i need to get this 2000 jdm b16 in my 1999 honda civic ex ? such as will i need a new shift linkage, axels, mounts, etc etc ?
and as for the wiring part what should i use the stock jdm harness thats comming with the motor or my stock jdm d16y8 harness? and what mods will i have to do ?
also which computer should i use the computer that comes with the jdm b16 or my stock d16 computer?
also is there anyway to tell if the motor is in good running conditon after it is already out of the car?
and lastly if any1 is selling a hydro b16 tranny wit lsd lemme kno

but anywho...your y8 harness and axles should be fine. you will need the b series shift linkage and b series rear engine mount. but yea, search next time.

The 99-00 Y8 harness has an oddity. The distributor plug is different. Mod that or get a conversion harness.
