looks like you're using the shadow/highlight tool. I follow your flickr pics and noticed some recent ones that were way over done. Pics before that were better, imo.
If it doesn't look real anymore, then thats where I draw the line, but sometimes if you are going for a certain effect, it works.

i have been using that tool lately .. i like it .. and i always ask the person if they like their shots .. if not i dont do it like that .. so if there satisfied i am too.. but yah i never used it before .. just always fun to try somthing new.

i can't lie, i used to like it and used it lightly for a few shots before, but then it just gets overdone and looks fake. Try editing the same shots using a more "realistic" technique and see if you don't like them more.

i did edit them "realistic" already and i did like it .. the rollin shot was actually one of them.. the rest .. kinda played with .. but i liked them.. i started doin these kinda edits after i saw this .. http://photo.net/photos/rarindra .. not saying there exactly like that but i liked that style in some shots .
