Default b16 tranny question.

i have a b16 tranny that has been opened by the case and there is white rubber stuff around where the case goes..

i think its the seal?

my question: is it ok to run the tranny like that in a car? or do i need to take it to a shop so they can reseal it?

i will try to get a picture..

yes lol, use honda bond when you put it back on. it helps make the seal between the two aluminum cases. it also makes sure you dont strip your case bolts. dont use it on the bell housing to the engine block though. bad idea...
