the paint is still pretty clean on my car but there is a peeling part on the door handle. i keep on breaking it off but its getting bigger and bigger now. how do i stop it? clear coat or can i use nail polish?

You would need to sand it all down till you get to the point where it is not peeling anymore, prime, sand, then paint.

Is just the clear peeling or is it literally the paint lifting off the plastic?

 

paint is lifting and cracking. sand it down wit 600grid? i hav some of that layin around

 

i think you mean 600 grit!
and yeah that will work
sand till it feathers well, adhesion promote, prime, prep(sand) paint!
