Default Coolant problem. (Searched)

I'm having some issues trying to find a coolant leak.

It's not coming from the top of the engine compartment, it's completely dry, around all of the hoses that I can visually see.

It seems to be coming from around the bottom of the trannys bell housing....I'm assuming above the housing, but I can't tell.

The weird thing is, that it doesn't really drip/leak unless I push the engine a little hard. And when I meen hard, I meen like gunning it to get in front of someone.

I cleaned the engine compartment, and pressure washed the under belly of the engine/tranny, and I can barley see a small drip of anti. freeze, like I said located on the bottom of the tranny, but it sucking my reserve dry about every other day or so.

Any ideas?

Thanks....

there is a coolant hose that runs under the distributor and goes into the head, might be that one.

/\/\/\ Yeah, check under the distributor and in the thermostat area...there's multiple hoses on the thermo housing.

Thanks man,

I'm sorry, but I failed to give the following info. in the thread.

Idle boosts to 2000-2500 rpm while carnking back up, with engine still warm.

Idle maintains 1100 rpm and sometimes fluctuates to 1300-1400.

NO surge or pulse, indicating the fitv or aicv. Vacuums fine.

I'm also 100% sure that the thermostat is bad. Before I found the leak and realized it, she ran hot, one time, and the guage didn't register it over heating the engine.....

I found the leak.

Heater hose, right under the clamp. Thanks GOD.

The only way it jumped out at me, was one morning I had the defrost on high and upd the hood. It was a small pin hole leak, that I never would have found, unless it was 45 degrees outside with the heater on.
