car wont start
i have a 1991 Honda accord that wont start. this happened a day after i drove it and the next day i replaced the distributor cap, the rotor, and the spark plugs just to do some regular maintenance and the car wouldn't start. i checked the to see if there was spark and there wasn't. i replaced the distributor with one from my brothers 91 Integra that worked and still no spark. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks
check the resistance of your coil to distributor ignition wire. should be about 25K ohm or less I believe.
make sure the connections are good too.
I have gotten bunk parts straight from the auto parts store before. you might have a bad part.

the plug wires are fine, i even changed them with my brothers accord (his is a 92- different distributor so i couldn't test his on my car) and my car still wouldn't turn on. as for the main relay, i can still hear it click when the key is in and i'm about to turn it on. does it matter that i tested it with an integra distributor? is there a difference with distributors from any obd0 car, are they all interchangeable?
When you say "distributor" do you mean "distributor cap"?
If the car was running fine, then you changed some secondary ignition parts and now have no spark, I would say to carefully check that each item is installed correctly and the proper part.
If so, then I would be highly suspect of the parts.
Do you have a spark coming from the main ignition wire off the coil? Or, are you checking at the end of the spark plug wires?
How exactly did you check for spark?
I've had a BAD distributor cap right from the parts store that kept my car from starting. Looked fine to me, but finally saw the spark leaking through the plastic body under low light conditions.
