wondering if a ecu to a vtec is interchangable to a non vtec engine...???

 

i say no because you can not use a non vtech ecu with vtech and have vtech

 

Yes they are interchangable but it will throw codes.

And its VTEC not VTECH^^

vtech...lmao....ok simply asked. 98 ex vtec (what i had), now i have a d16y7 motor, with the old ECU for vtec. Its effin up the speedo and driveablility..so do i need to get a non vtec ECU ??? Will this most likely fix my issues ? . there plain and simple...thanks guys.
