how to make a duplicate key?

So I have a 2000 EX with a '01 LS SWAP, I need to my a duplicate, so how do i go along to make one? Do they need the VIN number from the LS or just the LS key and duplicate the chip thing?

you didnt swap out ignitions did you? because i think that any key shop will be able to cut you one.

Yes the ignition was swapped out due to the immobolizer.

Go to any Key smith and they will cut you a spare.

He might not be able to do that due to the immobilizer. Just gen the VIN # from the car the motor came from, and take the VIN# to the dealer to get a key.

yep with a chipped key, u hafta go to a dealer and theyre expensive!
