TIG pipe welding

im wondering how some of you get your welds aroudn pipes or like welds around BOV's to look so darn clean? do you one continuous motion or start an stop in precise places? (never tig welded pipe)

Depending on the pipe size, I usually do it in 1/3's or 1/4's....Some smaller stuff I'll do in 1/2's.
