I want to install a chipped P28 in my B16A which is OBD2 and I understand that the P28 uses OBD1. I'm planing on buying a OBD2 to OBD1 harness convertor in ebay but I see that there are OBD2A/B. How can I tell If I need a OBD2 A or B to OBD1 convertor to be able to install the OBD1 P28?

It's a 99 Civic EX converted to a Si. I thought 96-99 it was OBD2A and 00+ OBD2B.

 

Nope. I own a 1999 Civic EX and I've done an engine swap on the car. I can tell you for certain that the car is OBD2B.
