Default obd2 or obd1

I have a 99 civic its obd2 and my swap is a obd1 b20b can I just get a new obd1 harness and install it instead of using and modifying the obd2 harness?

I might be mistaken but isn't OBD1 B20s from the Preludes? But if your talking about the CR-V B20s they are all OBD2a and OBD2b. Other than that I believe your engine harness will fit except for distributor plug.

woops I think you are correct I have a chipped P28 so its obd1 and the JDM
B20B is a obd2 motor my harness is obd2. Wouldnt it be easier to just swap out the harness and that way all the extra plugs are gone? Then I would just have to add a couple of wires and be done with it? Suggestions?
